Fathers Day

Happy Father's Day to our special Dad! The kid's were so excited for Father's Day so they could give Dad his rocket cake that they made with their Grandma Ehlert. We had cake and ice cream and had hawaiian haystacks for dinner. Dad got a tool set he wanted and an outside game to play with the kids. I took a ton of pictures hoping to frame them for one of Brad's gifts. It was a low key fathers day but, I think Brad had a good day...:)

Memorial Day weekend

This year we continued our tradition of visiting Fort Snelling. Parker was pretty excited to go this year but, unfortunately we missed the morning memorial service. We made it up to them by taking them to see them shoot the cannon. We visited the blacksmith shop and climbed the tower. We walked the grounds of the cemetary and read some names and talked about all the people who died for our freedom. Abby wanted to know if they were a Mom or a Dad. She didn't want to leave because she loved looking at all the pretty flowers people were leaving for their loved ones. Once we got home we did our usual spruce up the landscaping project. It was a busy day but, I'm so happy that my kids are learning to pay tribute and remember those who gave their life so they could have a life of freedom.

1 month!!

I'm one month old! I enjoy cuddling up to my mom when I sleep. I like to watch Baby Einstein. I love when people talk to me. I am cooing and smiling and I think that my mom knows what I'm saying. I hate the car and I usually scream the whole time. Taking a bath usually puts me to sleep. I love my big brother but, my sister scares me a little bit. This is me at one month..:) This picture pretty much shows what it was like the first 6 weeks! eeeeek

Mothers Day

I can't believe I'm the mother of 3!! I look at all three of them and wonder "What did I do to deserve these 3 wonderful kids?". Parker is a loving, considerate, helpful, little boy. Abby is a spunky, helpful, talkative little girl. Lilly is my little cuddlebug, smiley, cooing baby girl. I love all three of them so much and I'm thankful to Heavenly Father for trusting me with 3 of his most precious gifts...:)

Primary Talent Show

This year my kids had told me they didn't want to participate. So instead of forcing the issue I said "OK". It wasn't until an hour before the program that Abby decided she wanted to hula hoop for her talent. Even though she said she was going to do it, I was expecting her to back down once she realized she would have to get on stage all alone, in front of everyone. After watching several acts she decided she wasn't going to do it. Once they called her name to go on she got up, took her teachers hand, and went on stage to do her thing. She got up there, did it three times then walked off with a big smile on her face...:)

Opening Day

If I can rewind a bit, I have a few posts that should have been posted before Abby's party pic's. In May baseball started back up and Parkie was a bit more comfortable about this year. Since he knew what to expect I think it helped put his mind at ease. He is on a very talented team and so far they are first in the league. Parkie has a lot of the kids that he plays with in the neighborhood on his team and his best friend from school. This year his team named themselves "Bulldogs" and they are a force to be recon with..:) Here are some pic's of opening day.

Abby's 4th Birthday Paw-ty..!

I can't believe my little princess is 4!! This year I decided to throw Abby a puppy party. She is always asking to go to her Grandma's house to play with her puppies Minnie and Poncho. I started planning this party in Feb. knowing I would be very limited on time after having a newborn. Even with all the planning I was still scrambling to get things done. I wasn't able to get all the things I had wanted to do accomplished but, to be honest, I really didn't think this party was going to happen with the condition my house was in after some renovations we were having done. With the help of many we were able to get the house presentable for the next day so that Abby could have her puppy party. About Abby; She LOVES to dance! She moves her little cd player from room to room dancing and hula hooping to Britney Spears. She is a girlie-girl who loves make up and getting her nails done She's a dipper, she loves to dip her foods in sauces such as ketchup and Ranch dressing. She loves her brother and it conforts her to have him sleeping on her floor at night. She can come across shy but, she is actually the opposite to those who know her. Her favorite songs to sing are...Twinkle Twinkle little Star, Book ot Mormon Stories, Sunbeam song, I am a Child of God, and Christmas music. Her favorite cartoons are...Tom and Jerry, Bubble Guppies, Dora, and toddlers and tiaras...sigh...yes this is true. She loves to be pushed in the swings and jumping on the trampoline. She loves painting with water colors. She's very persistant and hard headed. She loves being Mom's little helper. She wants to be a ballerina when she gets older. She often asks to be cuddled to sleep. I love my little Abby girl and hope she had a very Happy Birthday..:)As hard as it is to watch her get older I know this next year she will give me many more things to cherish..:)Love you Babygirl..:)
