Rub a Dub Dub two cuties in a tub

My kids love taking baths! Sometimes I allow them to take a bath together if they promise not to fight..:( During those times I do allow bath time together, I have provided them tub crayons, paints, and bubbles to keep them entertained. On this particular day they amused themselves with a tub full of bubbles. They were being silly so I took the opportunity to snap a few pic's.

St. Patricks Day

This year I had big plans of doing a cute St. Patricks Day celebration but, circumstances this year didn't allow it. Brad was in the hospital and still having a rough time so, I thought I should spend most the day with him. My mom was leaving to go back home that day so we took Grandma to the airport and then headed to the hospital to see Brad. Brad looked pretty good that day and I think the kids were really relieved to see a part of their dad back. It was also the first day the kids were able to see their dad after surgery. Parkies class took the time to make Get Well Cards to give to him. We had fun looking through all 27 cards the kids had made. Even though it wasn't the ideal situation we made the best of it and had a great day spending time together...:)

Snow Day

What do you do on a Snow day?...Well, at our house you stay in your pj's until noon, build a tent on mom's bed, play with grandma's puppies, and watch movies and eat snacks..:) We had our first snow day of the year and I can honestly say I was happy to know that even if I wanted to leave the house, I couldn't. Normally, the kid's and I would probably go stir crazy but, I think we all welcomed the break from the business of life. It was a great day to just spend quality time with the kids :)

Pinewood Derby

This year Parkie was able to participate in the Scouts Pinewood Derby.Parkie and Brad worked in Grandpa's workshop to make sure Parkie had the coolest blue Police car they could build. Abby felt a little left out so, Dad worked on a car for Abby as well making sure it was the prettiest pink princess car she had ever seen.Parkie brought along two of his best friends to help cheer him on. We went with no expectations of winning only to have fun. We were surprised to to hear that Parkie had won 3rd place overall. I actually think he could have cared less with how much fun he had at the Derby but, I was so proud of him. Afterward we took Parkie and his friends to get one of his favorite treats,..... Cookie Dough Blizzard from the DQ...:)
