Well it's that time of year again :) Fall is probably my favorite season of the year. I love all the fall activities and all the fall colors. As we were driving to AADMOTS Farm we realized we hadn't been there since Abby was 3 months old :( Even though it had been so long Parkie remembered how much fun it was the last time we went. They have many activities to do such as; Apple picking, hayride, train ride, hay maze, tricycle ride, food, kettle corn, and many apple desserts to choose from. Parkie was very particular about which apples he picked to put in his bag. He had a hard time finding the ones he felt were just perfect (I have no idea where he gets that from...Tehee..). I could tell this could take awhile and we were on a time restraint of 5hrs :) so Brad and I helped him on his quest for the perfect apples. Abby was less discriminate about hers. She thought they all looked perfect to the point I found myself talking her out of the apples that were partly rotted and sported a worm hole. It's been hard to find family time the past couple of months so it was nice to be able to spend the day together to enjoy each others company :)
Well its that time of year again :(..:) ..(that means I'm torn about it). I did my annual back to school breakfast and this years theme was Dr. Seuss :) I could have taken the opportunity to make "Green Eggs and Ham" (you don't get that chance everyday) but, my kids would have sat there looking at me with disgust. I guess I can't say I blame them. I opted for a more kid friendly breakfast which consisted of fruit, and Cinnamon french toast (their fav). I always take Parkie his first day and walk him to class to help with his first day jitters. He tried telling me he wasn't nervous but, I could tell he was. As he was walking to class I took a picture of him walking he gave me a smile and we both started laughing. I knew at that point I was embarrassing him. He brought his teacher a back to school plant which she loved and Abby gave her a drawing she had made before we left for the school. We said our goodbyes and Parkie was left to enjoy his first day of 2nd Grade.
